Grafting party was highly educational and enjoable - our gratitude goes to John Valenzuela for sharing his expertise, to Robert Wieckowski, for providing us with the location, trees and delicious lunch, and to all the participants for asking many questions, trying out grafting and sharing your knowledge as well! We will be posting some photos from the event shortly.
For those who are not into fruit trees but love gardening edibles we have Plant Sale and Swap coming up as part of the Cupertino's Earth Day celebrations! This is a kids friendly event, with lots of information and fun activities. Come and get your favourite tomato varieties there!
We need your help!
We are looking for a new home for our annual TomatoBash - an heirloom tomato tasting event we have been hosting at the Picchetti Winery for the past 3 years. We are hoping to both, expand the event and make it more affordable for participants, hence searching for a new venue. We are looking for an outdoor space in the Bay Area that could accommodate 200 - 400 people, where alcohol can be served (wine). If you have suggestions send us a note.
